Mobilization and Deployment Readiness

Mobilization and Deployment Readiness

Separation is never easy and unfortunately as we all know, Army life means separation. Although you may not be together, there are many things that you can do to strengthen your relationship. We understand the stresses that you as a spouse, a child, a parent or loved one can go through and offer classes on how to effectively handle them.

The Mobilization & Deployment Readiness Program (Mob/Dep) helps to better prepare Soldiers and Families for all three stages of the deployment cycle (Pre-deployment, Deployment, and Reintegration), to include training and preparing Family Readiness Group (FRG) volunteers and leaders. Mob/Dep also has a pivotal role in bringing Comprehensive Soldier Fitness (CSF) resiliency training to Family members as well as Soldiers.

Deployment can be a highly emotional and stressful event. At Mob/Dep, we can help ease your mind by letting you know what to expect and the best ways to prepare for all aspects of the deployment cycle.
What Mob/Dep offers here in Baumholder are various classes, briefings and assistance with preparing for separation. For example:
  • Casualty Response (CARE) Team Training
  • Battlemind for Spouses – How Soldiers and their Family members deal with deployment mentally.
  • Key Caller Training – Support your local FRG by being a point of contact for the community.
  • CSF Module Level 1 – Overall summary and application of resiliency training.
  • FRG Leader Training
  • Personal Readiness Consult (PRC) – a pre-separation checklist to ensure you and your Family are properly prepared for the impending deployment/separation.
And much, much more!!
